It's Not Time To Turn Loose
Hold On To God's Hand

Isaiah 41:13, for I the Lord Thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee fear not; I will help thee. If God is holding on to our hand why do we seek to be loosed? Hold on.

We need to check our labor and see if we have run in vain; many has. Philippians 2:16, holding forth the Word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither labored in vain. Get to know those that labor with you, esteem them very highly in love for the work sake. I Thessalonian 5:12, and we beseech you brethren to know them which labor among you, and are over you in the Lord and admonish you. Be at peace among yourselves, warn the unruly ones, comfort the feeble minded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.

I Timothy 1:19, holding faith and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck. When we take off and leave God and our salvation we cause a shipwreck. We loose things in the hands of others that is ill prepared to handle the situation or job.

I Timothy 6:12, having damnation because they have cast off their first faith and withal they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house and not only idle but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not.

Titus 1:9-11, holding fast the faithful Word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gain sayers for there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake. People will lie, steal, and deceive innocent men. It's more competition in the Church and for what reason if we all love the same God.

In life everybody come for something. Jesus came to set us free from the bondage of sin. Man was full of traditions handed down by those before us. Traditions can be oral or written and they were many among the Jews. Many of the traditions could bring forth death to the one that did not keep it. Jesus never told his Disciples not to keep the traditions, but he let them know that they were traditions; but God is God. Everybody comes for something. Jesus had his work to do also, but the time had to be right. Jesus was hated of men and the sons of God that came to save them from death. The disciples was with Jesus when they came up to Galilee to celebrate the feast of tabernacle. St. John 7:6-9, then Jesus said unto them, my time is not yet come; but your time is always ready. The world cannot hate you but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil. God ye up unto this feast; I go not up yet into this feast; for my time is not yet full come. When he had said these words unto them, he abode still at Galilee.

Often times we jump off the splint to quick. Even Jesus worked in a time table, using wisdom to know what, when, how, why, and who. Jesus at this point and time realized that it was not his time to be offered up to the Jews. He came to his own and the rejected Him receiving him not. Jesus intentions and motives were right. His heart was to do the will of the Father God that had sent Him to save us from the pits of hell. Jesus was the living bread come down form heaven and he gave of his own life for the life of the whole world. Yet the world hates Him. Some time we give of ourselves and with the wrong intents. If we give of ourselves it should solely be for the work of the ministry that God will be pleased and not man.

Men is never satisfied so Hell and destruction are not full. We put our confidence in man and if they are unfaithful to God in the time of trouble they will flee like a broken tooth or as if a foot is out of joint. You don't hear nothing comforting from them. Jesus going with his disciples at the time would have caused an uproar so Jesus knew what he had to do. Some of the people had a spirit like Cain, they wanted to kill Jesus. The people felt Jesus was a deceiver, some thought he was a good man, but what do we think: Jesus knew when he was to go up into the temple. About half the time of the feast past and Jesus went up at the appointed time. Jesus called a spade a spade and they didn't like the fact that he knew so much and had never learned as a man would to make himself aware of the laws and working of God. They really didn't know who it was that was before them but Satan knew. Jesus preached and taught about the works of evil; we are never famous or accepted by the people when we teach the truth. Jesus was telling his Disciples that all his moves around the leaders of the people had to be calculated. Jesus got in a position where he could make his approach and not stir up any confusion.

We have to get in position and wait for something to happen. We are so lazy as a people and too anxious to overthrow leadership. This was not the approach Jesus wanted. He told them; it is not for you to know the times or the seasons which the Father hath put in his own power. Being anxious makes us go before God's timing and it created chaos. Jesus sent them on so that He alone did His own thing. Sometimes you have to go do your business alone. Jesus had a purpose and He knew the timing of what he was there for. When God sends us he expect us to stay in position and get the job done.

Everybody comes for something. Jesus knew what He was here for and he set it in his heart that it was God's time so he went on and waited. Satan have a purpose also and we need the leading of the Holy Ghost to stay ahead of the enemy. He seeks to pull us away from our God ordained purpose. He will use us to bring shame upon the name of Christ so that he tear down God's Kingdom not you. We are so insignificant. When Satan take on an attack against you, it's not you he is trying to steal but all those that would have been affected and saved by your ministry. Satan's purpose is to defeat God so he brings on fear to those that follow you to destroy their walk after Christ. Our testimony is that of the Lord Jesus Christ and if we no longer live for Him and follow Him we lose our reward thereby no one else is being saved.

We are not smart enough to know the time or season we walk in except it is revealed by the Holy Spirit. At the appointed time Jesus went up to the feast and He taught the Jews. They wondered how he could know all that he knew and had never been to school. People will wonder about you too if you are in a realm of God that they have not come to yet. St. John 7:30, they could not take Jesus because it was not tie yet. Then they sought to take Him but no man laid hands on Him because his hour was not yet come. Some time we are premature in our actions. The night is far spent, the day is at hand; let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. We want to work worthy of our calling and please God in every area of life. Jesus was fruitful in all his works. He completed every task the Father gave him. Not only was he the manifested in the flesh, he was rich in the wisdom of God. We have also a more sure word of prophecy, that we will do well to take heed to be in that place that God has called us to. Jesus came and we can have the love of God arising in our hearts.

Since Jesus came and we have a promise to fulfill we have to perform some specific act or service that is pleasing to Him. Often a vow implied that God on His part would likewise perform certain benefits for the one making the vow. Religious vows were made throughout the Bible. Jacob made a vow that if the Lord Jehovah would be with him and prosper him, he would choose Him as his God and he would build him and altar . Hannah vowed that if the Lord would give her a son, she would dedicate him to His service. They kept their vow and did what they said. They positioned themselves to receive of the Lord. God don't make promises and break them, we do. There is also the vow in which one binds himself to live a certain kind of life, to perform certain acts, but more especially to abstain from certain ways of living. We can't just have a ceremonial cleansing with the water poured over our feet and hands. We need experience the washing of the blood of Christ for the cleansing of sin. The most important vow ever made was the one God vowed, never to destroy his creation again as He had done in the times of Noah. Dedication of a person or thing to the service and worship of God. This includes us conferring to the holy orders, ordination to holy and sacred service. We as the people of God must consecrate ourselves setting apart things from a common to a sacred use.

It's not time to turn loose but hold on to God's hand. Make a decision today that I will hold on to God and not let go. We are living in a time where sin is rampant in the land. Jesus condemned sins of omission, as well as those of commission. In the preaching of the early church, the great sin as it is now is the failure to accept Jesus as Christ. He is calling for us to hold on and reach back and pull someone else with you. Think more on others than your own self. Sin includes not only actions, but neglect of known duties; all evil thoughts, words, acts, and all that is contrary to the law of God. When we do not think of someone else accepting Christ, we deprive a soul of knowing the truth and experiencing God's grace.

Wake up Saints, its not time to loose your hand from God's hand.
