See the good beyond the bad, like a light beyond the shadow.
Respond to hate by being glad. They may see beyond the shallow.
Be undaunted, even brave. You might break your enemy.*
Live as free, though a slave of this world that you see.

Have a song of love regardless of how you are feeling.
Keep it with a sense of joy, even when this life is reeling.
Sing it with an air of kindness. Someone may just need it.
With all things, sing its letter by the power of My Spirit.

To keep the Song keep its rhythm. Keep so close to My heart.
Sing, O soldier of the Kingdom. Let My grace impart.

Sing, My Love, of My love, I will keep you steady.
I'm the Hand, you're the glove, until you finally come to Me.
Can you see Me in your Life? I've been always there.
Hear Me sing, I am Christ. Hear Me in your prayers.

Sing in truth and your spirit. It's you We're looking for.
This is the Way, walk in it, for all We keep in store.
As you read, find your faith. Find the Gift you're given.
Find yourself as being saved, keep it in your living.

Sing so much, so much more, to the final gasp.
Sing to Me. I'm the Lord. The First and the Last.
Then sing to Me, to My face, as I take your hand.
You are singing by My grace, the peace on which you stand.
