There’s no Light without You,
No hope without Your everlasting Love.
I need Your help from above
To guide me in all that I do.

The life I led before we met
Feels like one mistake after another;
The lies I’ve used as a cover
Loom over me like a hunter’s net.

I can’t do this on my own:
You ask for not part, but all of me
To be the very best I can be.
Never again will I be alone.

In You, there is eternal Light;
Through You, the world will see the Truth in me.
The lock to my heart has been opened by You, the only key,
And my eyes are opened to new sights.

You are the very Light I’ve waited for,
The one I give my life to
And live for in everything I do.
You are mine, and I am Yours.
