Faith

Feel you walk the concrete jungle,
often wonder what's worthwhile?
As relationships still crumble,
what gives you the strength to smile?

You don't look through rose tint glasses,
as you face your bills at home.
While your stomach starts to rumble,
so your mind begins to roam.

I can't prove that God is with us,
when it comes to push and shove.
All I know, something's within us,
asking; Where did we find love?

There's a name which makes us humble,
found in every newborn's eyes.
Evergreen renews the jungle,
which evolves with some surprise!

I can't prove that God is possible,
nor Heaven is above.
Nor can I make you believe
by asking; Where did we find love?

Prisoners are ten a penny
all attracted to their crimes.
While they face their final penalty,
they've walked a million miles.

Sickness is another sentence,
no-one knows who'll make full bloom.
Yet, if someone needs reminding,
all in love is possible.

I can't prove there is an after-life,
yet, is it plausible,
that we all stand up and ask the question;
Where did we find love?
