“I feel pressured to evangelize and pressure is not from God, so I won’t go”
Mat 9:37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;
Mat 9:38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
Mat 10:1 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

If you are feeling “pressured” to evangelize, you can be sure it is God!
If you look at verse 38 and chapter 10 verse 1 above, Jesus says to ‘pray that the Lord will “send forth” labourers into His harvest’, and later He gave His disciples “power against devils to “cast them out”. In the Greek the word used to describe both actions is the same. G1544 ἐκβάλλω, ekballō, ek-bal'-lo: to eject (literally or figuratively), bring forth, cast (forth, out), drive (out), expel, leave, pluck (pull, take, thrust) out, put forth (out), send away (forth, out).God is forceful when it comes to sending His people out to get the lost. And His Ministers should be leading the charge with the Saints when it comes to evangelism, after all, the Great Apostle Paul even told a young Pastor named Timothy to ‘do the work of an evangelist’. So then, every Christian should feel pressured in a right way, to witness to the lost, especially if they are not, for the Holy Ghost is trying to get out of us to shine for Jesus Christ. The pressure your feeling is your flesh’s’ will, rubbing up against the Lord’s will, the flesh not wanting to do anything for the Lord that doesn’t satisfy it. So then today, don’t cast off that pressure as if it’s wrong, submit to it, start sharing your faith today and bring another person home for Jesus.
