Let yourself see the good
   when things are dark and bad.
In Christ's strength see you could
   though you feel you can't.
Let patience have its perfect work
   while you feel enraged.
See the light within the murk,
   freedom in the cage.

In all this, please allow
   the power of God to be.
Your will must die, this is how
   the Life of Christ flows free.

From your faith the love comes through
   killing your flesh's fear.
Then you attest to those seeing you
   the Jesus you revere.
It is then they can't deny
   the Lord who paid your debt.
If they ask, “Tell me why?”
   Tell them, “Jesus I've let.”
