Poetry
Oh, how I long for Your presence
The peace in Your embrace
Exhaustion has left me feeling
so distanced from Your face
The enemy has tried to steal my joy
through this trial we now face
But I refuse to give it up to him
for it is my very strength
Lord, quicken me in my inner man
Sustain me by Your grace
I hunger and thirst to meet You again
In that secret, most intimate place

This poem struck my heart today. I knew a friend of mine needed to hear the words written here...words that ring so true. They were/are a great reminder for me, too. :)
