Matthew 21:12 Jesus entered the temple area and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mark 11:15 On reaching Jerusalem, Jesus entered the temple area and began driving out those who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves.

The verse talks of the time when Jesus went into the temple and saw the dove sellers, traders and money changers? I guess he was smiling. I guess he patted then on the back one by one saying "Hi, could u kindly go out and sell outside of the gate, Please?" Actually he was boiling with passionate anger. But be careful because he ws not uselessly angry. He remembered how God had blessed man on the day of creation. But now,seeing this atrocious event, an eye sore,
the same men that his father had blessed years back being ignorant of the precious gifts God had given them!

In that same house was divine salvation. God could be there, but they did not see God. Rather they saw vain Opportunities; in money rates, dove prices and corrupt activities. Jesus knew that this was an act of robbery. Oooh, not on God naaaaah, but of Satan on mankind. He knew men were being used, deceived and thieved by the Devil. So he was furious for the devil.

As he passed the main door, he would have brought down the whole temple. But his compasionate anger on mankind's ignorance drew him back. He lost his social humility, friendship with the community, he lost peoples approval just to show unwanted love. I guess the money changers didn't even know how much LOVE had been given them.

They mummbled, "howbeit this man who calls himself son of God, be so evil that he is so angry on things that are relieving pressure on poor old people trying to earn a living" Yes they were smiling in there, and Jesus came in, Jesus dampened that so they thought he didn't want them to be happy. Also note: Taxes were rampant those days so he had 'damaged many poor lives'.

They mumbled 'God will surely burn this man!' 'ngaapiswe baba'. But it wasn't so God was smiling at this act of SELFLESS kindness. It was glorious. For Jesus could have been so childish to keep the whole kingdom for himself, but he shared it as if he didn't want it. Yet he did, knowing that you also needed the kingdom as much as he did! Only that your right had been stolen away by the devil. And so u needed some form of repentance. So he challenged even what you thought was for your survival. JOBS were never meant for our living, they are for a giving. Next time someone asks you what you do for a living. Say i believe in God, so i expect from him. But for a giving (like tithes, charity, thanksgiving) I work for so and so.

So Jesus went on and did what was right. Oh holiness! He was divine love. He is divine love. He will be divine love. The traders today survive because of an act of passionate anger. All by the Conquering LION of the Tribe of JUDAH! Amen.
