Pornography. As Christians we feel helpless sometimes against that silent enemy that beat upon our souls. Male or female, we can all relate, we have all become silent. Pornography is rampant in the Church. People are hurting within the church and sometimes the only thing they have to fill their loneliness is the internet. I f you are that person Jesus can heal you. How do I know...He did it for me. I was addicted to pornography when I became a teenager and before I became a Christian in 1979 and I thought that becoming a Christian would take it all away. But it did not. It is as it almost became more aggressive. I prayed and I went to see counselors and then I prayed some more for a possible deliverance. I got married in 1988 and I thought that for sure it would disappear but, not yet. I struggled and cried but the heavens were as brass. It is only a few years ago that the breakthrough came. It took a miracle, it took a spoken word from God to my spirit. He said simply and very gently,
"Jesus died for this too..." Then the years of struggles were over, freedom was sweet and it had finally come. Let us call sin,sin. Pornography is a medium used by the devil to promote the sin of adultery which breaks one of the ten commandments of God. Look inside your heart at the emptiness that your addiction has brought. Adultery is the sin to be confessed.
Now I want to pray for anyone who will read this article:"Lord Jesus, I thank you for anyone who will read this article. I pray that they will long for fellowship with you, God and your great and pure love." Receive his freedom, it is sweet! Amen
