When the angels call my name
Some night when the stars are glistening
When heaven knows my fame
Be it good, or just indifferent
I only hope to go
To my Saviour’s
Heart.

When the angels call my name

When I fly beneath that faith
Of my whole life’s inner listening
I only hope to go
To my Saviour’s heart.

If Life was just a road;
If dreams were just a spark;
If love was just a feeling;
If faith was just a mark;
I ask you fellow pilgrims: Where would we be?

When the angels call my name
Some night when the stars are glistening
When heaven knows my fame
Be it good, or just indifferent
I pray I’ll find my name
Humbled in His good christening
Ever sweet aflame
In my Saviour’s heart.
