Requires great care
In what you say
Because it’s serious.

Don’t pick and choose
Counsel you use
You need the whole
to guide the sheep aright.

God does comfort
But also rebukes
He does inspire
but also corrects.

Speaking, ‘Peace, peace..’
Regardless of sin
Is leading people astray
Goading them into hell.

That is just wicked
That’s of the devil
You’re his agent;
A tool, a stooge, a front.

You need great skill
If you will not kill
Rightfully handling
The Word of Truth.

Pray before you speak
The mind of God
Line up your word
With the Word of God.

If you have doubt, freeze;
Hold your peace;
Keep your word;
Pray over your word.

Speak His word with confidence
Speak His Word with conviction
Speak His word with boldness
Speak His word with compassion.
Train, restrain, warm, preach
Rebuke, inspire, teach
Guide, counsel, comfort
Admonish, warn,
Challenge and charge.

Let there be hammer
in the word you speak
Let there be meat
in the word you speak
Let there be fire
in the word you speak
Let there be cheese
to go with the bread
come down from heaven.

Let there be water
to dissolve, dilute
enhance digestion
and circulation
Let there be light
to order steps
Let there be milk
to make bones strong
Let there be life
to revive, revitalise
Let there be balm.
to soothe and heal
Let there be compass
to direct and guide
Let there be song
to gladden he heart
Let there be a rod
to correct the wayward
Let there be wholeness
In the Word of God.

Speaking for God is serious
and we need every care
as not to tear
or cause His sheep
to go astray
