Looking down you shuffle along,
You seem to carry heavy burdens
Burdened shoulders and burdened heart
Worried, anxious, you look so sad!

But wait, my dear friend, just a moment,
Don’t you see the precious gifts
That God, Our Father, has kept for us?
Waiting for us for all these times!

Look at those glorious flowers in colors,
Swaying their heads along the path!
They bloom daily for seeing us smile
And cheer up soothing our bleeding heart!

Put out your hand and feel the breeze
Blowing gently for a sweet comfort,
Whispering joy and pleasant secrets
That embrace through those Heavenly hands!

What about those singing birds?
They chirp and sing melodies for us,
Telling stories of Eternal Providence
That keeps them away from all worries!

Do you want to ride on a chariot
Of golden glistening and glorious make
Pull you smoothly flanked by thousands
Cheering ‘hail’ and singing your praises?

All these worldly shows will pass
Leaving you only in worry and despair;
But God leads you with fragrant flowers
Showering on you and smothering with love!

Heroes have their minutes of fame,
Beauty queens are bubbles in water!
Cheer up! Smile at every gift
That comes your way as sent by God!
