We believe, then we don't,
   each, for a moment in time.
We will drink, then we won't,
   as with a cup of happy wine.
Then we'll walk, pay the cost,
   only when we heed the Voice.
We are afraid, until we trust,
   all we need is our choice.
 
We are in need, each of us,
   we're looking for the Sign.
We will find it in this Jesus,
   seen in a moment in time.
Grace and mercy are all we need,
   food and good clean water.
We are earth for want of seed,
   and He has made His offer.
 
This is the Truth: we're weak and frail,
   believing we are not.
Equally true: Jesus won't fail,
   when He is our God.
 
O, for the Love that's found in Christ,
   if only when we listen.
To know our names are on His list,
   our spirit would rise and glisten.
Sorrow and joy, both will past,
   like a cup of that fine wine.
Decisions made, the die is cast,
   we'll see our lives as a moment in time.
