Faith

Give your heart, without expecting gain,
Spirit has spent you.
Give your all, until it causes pain,
Spirit has meant you.

Each mountain you have climbed,
all walls you have destroyed,
God's will is in your mind,
you're oh, so blessed with joy!

Lay down your swords, my dearest friends,
love will protect you.
What is fear, but fear of itself?
Jesus' heart connects you.

He wept the tears you cried,
a lesson in itself.
Why does this spring to mind,
if not a cry for help?

What's life, my friends, if not variety?
Each fruit must be tasted.
You'll palate some, others are swept away,
yet none of those are tainted.

Each twin, whenever born,
are both the rose and thorn.
On every star you wish,
You're drenched by Jesus' kiss!

Hold his hand, he will offer you
a life thus worked, thus strengthened.
His broken heart has left a loving scar,
no sin is mentioned.

He is the way, the life and truth,
living his dream inside of you.
Sin of fear, not yours to own,
love is life, you're not alone.
