A place within my heart,
deep within my soul
away from the darkness,
safe from the cold
They cannot take it from me,
they cannot make me go,
they can beat me, break me,
Lock me up, I will reach it though
There I meet my Master,
My Father, and my Friend,
I go to Him when wounded,
for my wounds He'll tend
I go to Him when joyful,
together we rejoice
I go to Him to talk,
without words in my voice
everyone has this place,
some choose not to see
you to can have this sanctuary,
you just have to believe
I love this place of heart,
I visit all the day,
Its such a simple place to go,
only must you pray
