The Places of Our Hearts



God knows the secret places of the soul, just as He knows the
Intricate places of our hearts. When we cry He cries. He sees the very essence of our being. He is God the maker of heaven and earth.

The day will come when we will see our Lord in all of his majesty, all of his glory and his entire splendor. He is the one who hung between heaven and earth. The places in our hearts belong to him alone.

To the mother who raises her children alone. To the man who is without a home, the victim of an economy gone haywire. To the children who’s parents are addicted to drugs. These are the ones who God holds dear in his heart.

We are all valuable to him but for the less fortunate he seems to keep a closer eye on. The places in our heart cry to him when no one else will listen. When the midnight hour approaches and a son or daughter failed to keep curfew or a spouse is drinking and driving. God is there listening and he is always closer then a brother.

Man will undoubtedly fail us but the Lord will not. In fact his word declares in Deuteronomy 31 verse 6 "Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee." What a wonderful, powerful verse to hold on to in the midst of trouble.

As you encounter the various trials of this life remember he alone knows the places of our hearts and he knows more then anyone else how to mend the places that have been down trodden and malign by mankind. Our hearts belong to him, alone.
