From Salvation to Zion.

Our Salvation may be free
Yet nothing good comes easy
Work it out “with fear and trembling”
Satan always is dangerously busy
It cost our Lord a great deal
Jesus recommends the Narrow Way
When you set your feet on the Journey
There is no turning or looking back
Put ‘Egypt’ far behind you and not sway
Else you short circuit your destiny
Drop all excess baggage behind
You must leave light and empty
“Remember Lot’s wife”
The recent, present and latent suffering
Cannot be compared to the bondage of ‘Egypt’
Like the pillar of cloud and fire by Israel’s side
The Holy Spirit is available as sure guide
Do not murmur or complain
Despite the seemingly unending pain
In the end you find there is gain
It is dangerous to draw God’s wrath
Walk only on the right path
Keep your gaze on Zion
That’s where you are heading
Be not afraid of the Lion
Desire for yourself a good ending
Beware of distraction of mammon
The race is not a swift sprint dash
It’s a joyful, grueling and enduring marathon
The circumstances may sometimes be rough and harsh
Yet you are destined to be a champion.
