Refusal and Apprehension



I saw a sight the other day-
it made me sick through the heart.
he was on his way, wrong way-
for he refused to acknowledge who Thou art.
there's no denying I Am when creation's implying.
every scenario, sickness, and fortune is in his hands.
Within his eyes he yearns; for our love undying.
omniscient mind, will he not then understand?
are we corrupt to say that which curses inspiration?
are we abrupt to assume that he doesn't care?
if only we'd listen to thy proverb's motivation-
if only we'd trust that he's there.
Perhaps we have neither health nor love nor fast cars-
just as the Plain-belly Sneeches had none upon thars.
superseding our implores, does he present us our wants?
indeed the opposite, why dont we ask for knowledge, and what I Am wants for us.
for indeed i know of I Am
