HOW LONG?

For how long;
Will these feelings rule?
Down in the bitterness of the heart,
Who will comfort the mind?


But for how long;
Will the present stop crying,
Will the past be remembered in sorrow,
What days to hope for?


Tell me how long;
Will the heart continue to be heavy-?
Of words and feelings.
All in great despondent
