Calvary & Kingdom greetings Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus.

I Know by now the internet/blogosphere will be awash with debates, reactions & counter-reactions to the current Bishop Eddie Long's imbroglio.

My admonition at this stage is that we should tread with caution. Let's keep the Bishop in our prayers at this Critical Period. Let our actions, comments, reactions, counter-reactions and even our prayers be motivated by love and love alone. Ephesians 4:15 admonishes us to always "speak the truth in love".

This might sound facetious, but I believe the 'computers' in Heaven are programmed to automatically reject anything coming in that does not have love.

Let's also be aware that any brand of fire-breathing judgementalism do not in anyway come close to Christ’s Message of Love which was once handed down to the Saints and passed on to us.

Let's pray for the Bishop, his family, his ministry and the entire Body of Christ as a whole.

Let's not forget; Jesus was not an accuser of the Brethren. He was and still is an INTERCESSOR!

The last thing we need right now in the Body of Christ are mean-spirited moral 'high-grounders' who are quick at dissecting, analyzing and pontificating the weakness(es) in others, while doing nothing to help in dealing with the weakness(es).

Let's not be like the Pharisees who were always powerful to convict but powerless to convert.

God Himself will bring the truth concerning this matter to light in His due season. Because, as things stands at the moment, only the all-knowing God knows who is speaking the truth- either is Bishop Long or his accusers.

For now, we can only watch in silence, prayers and sober reflection.
