Reading the story of the sower almost the 100th time gave me a new dimension to the way Jesus Christs dearly advised us not to make idols for any case, whether percieved good or not!

The world today tends to want more of justification more than ever. A wise man hideth away from being justified by the world, for it is a snare to have the world behind you when doing the work of God. This is a sequel of the parable of the sower. This time, the earthly lives are narrated before the heavenly ones!!!

There are four man living in the same country. They are all somewhat living a good life for they all aim to be i heaven at the end of it all.

The first tries as much as he can to justify such a thing as the internet, abolishing apatheird or how the world is ignoring hunger in Africa. Truly, for a while, such debates cause so much noise but the determined person will 'fight' his last blood into it. Finally, the devil pretends that you've won the case, and the world apparently is so behind you. I know the feeling when everyone tends to support you. You feel pressured to live up to their standards. Gradually and regularly one starts living a hypocrytic (pretended) life. The truth behind that life is set aside to constanlty laugh away one's faith in the true God such that once publicly declaring 'i am of God' becomes 'i'm sorry to the world and everybody i hurt in the process'.

Another will buy a TV set and satelitte receiver for christian broadcasts; dvd's and cd's. Surely, this is good one is rest assured that come rain come thunder, gospel material is always at hand to feed his soul, even repeating the ones he likes. It happened to me once. Eventually, our power supplier cut off our electricity because of non-payment of bills. 'Oh God?' I became very unstable like a house built on sand. For the devil is ruler of the world and controls the things of the world.

This one has to have money to sleep a peaceful night. So he works very hard to sustain such a life. He has friends almost in all sectors such that it is impossible for him not to get a way through a business opportunity. He knows, he's good to so many friends around him and has money and a nice succesful family standing by him, keeping him from the evil one.

The last one? Not much to talk about, just an old torn bible but at least it contains the full account of the Gospel. But wait, he secretly boasts of some riches but noone really knows what.

Now heres the explanation:

The first are the ones near the rocky area, who believe that life is about using all means possible to safeguard their faith. They believe that the rocks will protect them against the wind, and it does. But thats not all the problems there are in the world. On real deals, the rocks they hide in tend to suffocate their need for rooting into the word.

The second is one who is residing near water, lots of it infact. What he doesn't know is that where there's water, there isn't much life. It isn't permanent. Sooner or later, allegators and crocodiles will come through the same water and eat him away!!

The third is one who allows thons to build around him. Money, parties, get togethers and all those worldly good staf that in the end do not pay of but in turn choke you away!!

Lastly, the 4th one is the one where there is nothing of the world. Be it sheleter, insurance, medical aid or anything. He does not have to budget because he survives on what the Lord provides that particular day. He scrambles for the spiritual truths and does not involve much in earthly debates that do not benefit a man. He is just on pure soiled land. The world obviously has a lot to laugh at by this kind of living.

The spirit is the best condition for our faith to grow. Do not be deceived that this & that can help. Just call out to the Lord loudly and he will lift you up himself. All these other things are thorns and rocks in the very last end. Be blessed!!!!
