The other day, I met a nice old man at the bus stop and we were talking about people being on strike. Then, the conversation took an interesting turn when he asked me my age and I told him. He said to me that I looked 15 years younger than my age. He asked me how old I thought he was and he said to him: “70 years old” and he said to me that, in fact, he was 85 years old, I couldn’t believe it. He couldn’t believe also that I looked so young. He confessed me that he had life me, a harsh childhood, but he has had a very good life, he loves people, he enjoying laughing, helping and meeting people in needs and he is very sociable. He said that he still walk about 5 miles each day and with his teeth on, he looks 65 years old. He is healthy and still takes the bus by himself and goes to the supermarket to do his shopping. What a wonderful blessing this man life is. I thank God for his goodness that shows us that, not only in the bible, but nowadays, we can still live to a ripe old age!!!!! God is good…. May God be good to us like he has been for this man.


Lord, help us to carry on with our lives,
Give us the strength to carry on,
Give us your love and your passion
for life.

Make us useful for your kingdom,
Encourage us through other people experience and testimonies with life,
Humble our hearts,
Help us to embrace your church and your love.
Give us the job of your dreams.

Give us this big project
That you have for us, reveal it to us
Before we leave this earth

Jesus is an inspiration for us,
And an example for the whole word.
Give us this supernatural power
from the Holy Spirit.
Get rid of our anger and be gentle through the power of your Word.
Give us understanding with those that hurt us the most

Give us more, Lord, of your spirit
Help us to be free
from the fear of flying above our personal problems.

Lord, We need your wisdom and your understanding
Heal us from our sicknesses that are in our body, soul and mind
Make us fall in love with you more and more each day.

Help Israel to be kind and a blessing to the Palestinians,
Stop Israel from killing the Palestinians.
Comfort us at night and during the day.
Soothe our souls and our hearts.

Lord, we bless you and we give you thanks
For all the things you have done in our lives and the things
You are going to do later on with our lives.
