The Inner Person

Why would we think that there is a person living on the inside of us? If one dwells there what is its purpose for being there? When did it get inside of me? Subconsciously we know he is there but what does he hope to accomplish?

The inner person that immortal one does dwell and has named itself the inner man. Of course He being the gentleman he is will not come alive in us except we allow him to. He will then manifest his presence, power, influence and wisdom. When we die to the mortal flesh that surrounds this inner person and yield the right of way to him then he will independently show forth his personality in our soul and spirit. While the spirit partakes more of a dependent relationship it unites man with their creator once again through Christ Jesus.

The Spirit called the inner man delights in the Law of God after the inward man. The great love of Christ is perceived through the spirit in the inner man and he strengthens us with might and faith according to the riches of His glory. This allows Christ to dwell in man's heart by that same faith rooted and grounded in love. That same spirit in the inner person helps us to comprehend and understand this dying love we are given that we forgive even as God does. God breathe His Spirit in a dead Adam and he became a living soul.

Isaiah 61:1, the Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek. All of our works in the earth is wrought on by God's Spirit in the inner man. He put His Spirit within man and caused us to walk in His statutes and to keep his judgments and do them. The spirit of the inner man teaches us God's will giving us a unique quality of mind and body needed by man to execute the will of God.

Our inner person hears and speaks, he chooses for us after God's will, has its own personality apart from mortal man, has the knowledge of the Father concerning us and makes intercession for us. The inner person will guide us and lead us if we will follow. God made us in His image and we are capable of knowing Him and returning His love. He said in Genesis 1:26, let us make man in our image, after our likeness. Before the mortal man was, was the immortal man, the Spirit. God breathe His Spirit in man and man became a living soul. So therefore we are not more than God but we are his candles in the earth. We do not live by bread alone but by every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.

God set man over all the works of his hands and the inner person, inner man or whoever they will call him. The inner man keeps this mortal man in line. Who knows the spirit of man? Ecclesiastes 12:7; then shall the dust return to the earth and that inner man to the Father in Heaven. That inner person is that spirit that God breathe in man that made him come alive. It helps us see ourselves in the mirror and not someone else. It makes us face our own demons head on. When we see ourselves it helps us to see others right. It also helps up get the mote out of our own eyes so that we don't see the beam in others. That inner person helps us see clearly.

Step back and take a look within and allow the inner person to rest, rule, and abide. Life would be a better life.
