Many take their scissors to God's Word and
Cut out this piece—eradicating that piece,
This is done because of their erroneous understanding of God and how
He has revealed Himself in His Word

Too many want to use the Bible for their benefit
So that they can get, what they want to believe!

In many places we see, some knick knack with Jesus on it
Here is just a sampling of what is out there today:
Jesus candy, including breath mints and chocolate
Jesus key rings, Jesus stickers, Jesus pens and pencils
Jesus rulers, Jesus sandals, Jesus T-shirts, Jesus hats
Jesus coins, Jesus bracelets and other jewellery
Jesus toothbrushes etc.
Jesus appears on all these products
However many wear them but HE does not appear in their hearts!

Too many cash in on Jesus
Simply because HIS NAME makes a lot of money—
Our aim must not be to cash in on Jesus—
That is not why we were born

Jesus must not become our money maker
We must first seek the Kingdom of God and
Everything else will follow
