Through troubled times and worried minds his light shines upon us
Through rainy days and unsettled ways his light shines upon us
In darkened hours and down pouring showers his light shines upon us
In tough battles that make us feel rattled his light shines upon us
When it is hard to cope and you feel like there is no more hope his light shines upon us
Jesus is our light that shines upon us
He is someone that you can trust
Lay your problems on him
He will always listen
With the Lords warm embrace
You will find love happiness and grace
Through the sunlight’s rays
God will be there to guide your way
When you see the rainbow in the sky
You know our almighty God is nigh
Jesus he is true and he is just
It is his light that will always shine upon us
