Confusion
Babylon
Nothing
Nothing is as it seems
Everything
Everything is as it seems
Sin leads to death
Or so we are told
Keep us in Babylon
Keep us happy down in the pits
Don't let us know the truth
Trapped in our own perception
Trapped by the internet
Trapped by the Earth's magnetic field
Gouged for money until we die
Or did we die each time we sinned
Some think they do good to give us
Not what we need but what we want
Or what they think we want to hear
A false hope dangled like a carrot
In front of our faces or in our minds
I have seen things
I have heard things
I have traversed dimensions and times
I am therefore labeled
I am marked for extermination
I sense my impending death
Come out of Babylon
But how many times do I have to break
Do I have to feign happiness
When everything and nothing is as it seems
Information overload
Daniel got it right
Experts and expert software
Created our own entrapment
Doctors won't let you pass
But they don't care about your suffering

Confusion
Babylon
People just don't know
Or don't want to know
We are all crazy
Paranoia
Fear
Fearless
Addiction
Self-medication
Pharmaceuticals
Illusion and delusion
Dreams and visions
What is reality and is it that tumultuous
Too much news
Too much strife
Heaven trembles
Too much pride even though a nobody
Just acting like a somebody
Perhaps only important in my own warped mind
If in hell and a Christian are you then the enemy
If in hell and a non-believer then are you okay
Too many contradictions and not enough time
