say when asked who we are

But who are we?
Our jobs will end
Our role as a parent will change

All things transform
Many things are passing
Who are we?

We don't have
to go far to
find the answer

Look deep within
There is something
sacred that is eternal

Our soul radiates
the light of Jesus
The eternal flame of love

Roles and people
may leave or change
But the fire of love

The eternal passion
which was given to us
when we were born is everlasting

This is our true self
We are beloved children of God
glowing in his light of faith
