Dear Pain,
You were my
closest companion
You not only
seemed to
surround me but lived within
You kept your
strong hold on me
and said you would never let go
But I have a
new life now
I have some words to say
I forcefully take '
your hands off of me
and breathe out all the pain within
You no longer control me
You no longer are with me
I will no longer cling to you
