The day time returned
I was struck with awe.
Caught unawares, stunned by luck
My joy knew no bounds
What I thought forever lost has now been found.

Is it an illusion or real ?
What I cherished most
Has returned back to my doorstep,
With an even greater depth.
I wish time forever stands
And never slips through my hands.

I always believed that time would never return
But, I am glad to have been proved wrong.
I want to hold and savor this moment so dear
Which has erased all my doubts and fears.

A dream once dreamt
A hope once longed for
Has now been realized.
What I reminisced about with fond nostalgia
Is now a present reality.

All I want to do is dance at this second chance
Hope the music never stops
Nor my faith ever drops.
‘Cause time has returned to forever stay
On this very golden day.
