as if it’s in pieces
The darkness of pain seems unreal

People walk by
and you go through your day
But they seem out of reach and distant

This loneliness is more
than you can bare and
Tears are your only solace

I think of you as
the day begins and
imagine you as you weep

May you know Jesus
is looking at you
with love and care

He knows your pain
His eyes are looking
at you this moment

Can you see his compassion?
Can you feel his strength as
he gazes into your heart?

Let him love you
Let him hold you
Let him listen to your deepest self
