When disappointments and trials
come to try to get you down
And those you love so faithfully
have turned and run you aground

I know at times you may feel like
it's just no use no more
I'm only but an outcast
forsaken and put out doors

But there is someone who cares
and knows your aches and pains
the hurt and rejections
because, he went through the same

Now he's carrying your heavy burdens
and all your suffering today
All you need but to ask him
and he will take them away

He said when all others forsake you
then he will pick you up
This friend his name is Jesus
and he'll never on you give up
