BEING A TRUE MEMBER OF THE FAMILY

'To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did'

To be a true member of God's family on earth, it has to start in the home , love , true love, Agape love that was displayed on Calvary’s cross, without this, it is empty.

Jesus said in the gospel of John, When you love one another by this shall people know that you are my disciples indeed.

Where a person proclaims to be a member of a family and he or she is the harbinger of pain and destruction for ANOTHER (or others) IN THE FAMILY, true love does not exist but selfish motives and wickedness of heart.
It takes genuine effort to truly belong and make those around you that you consider as brethren, biological or spiritual to feel a sense of belonging.

Be steadfast in faith, love and selflessness for this pleases God

'The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.'

Mrs Obama was quoted in an interview thus:

“Throughout my life, I've learned to make choices that make me happy and make sense for me. Even my husband is happier when I'm happy. He has always said, "You figure out what you want to do," because he's discovered that personal happiness is connected to everything. So I have freed myself to put me on the priority list and say, yes, I can make choices that make me happy, and it will ripple and benefit my kids, my husband, and my physical health. That's hard for women to own; we're not taught to do that. It's a lesson that I want to teach my girls so they don't wait for their "aha" moment until they're in their 30s like I was (laughs). Maybe they can experience it a little earlier.


In another interview:

Michelle Obama: When you work on something really hard TOGETHER and enjoy the successes and challenges with each other, and then get through it not just whole but stronger, you realize how blessed you are, how much love you have together. So, yes, I think we've grown. But not just me and Barack. It's the girls, too. And our whole extended family.
Oprah: Gayle once interviewed you for her radio show and was blown away by something you said: that your husband has never disappointed you. Gayle was like, "I can't believe that!"

Michelle Obama: Barack is a human being with flaws. And I can rattle down all the flaws and tease him about them every day, but those flaws are not fundamental. They don't hit upon things that are intolerable to me. In terms of his core values, he has never disappointed me. He is a very consistent person
He is steady. Has he made me mad? Yes. Does he sometimes do things that I don't like? Absolutely!

Oprah: That's called marriage.

Michelle Obama: But as a human being, he has never disappointed. AND I WOULD HOPE HE COULD SAY THE SAME ABOUT ME. Ask him!

Oprah: I will. First chance I get. Has your love deepened during this whole process?

Michelle Obama: Absolutely. I don't lose sight of the fact that he's the president, but first and foremost he's my husband, my friend, and the father of my children. That didn't change with his hand on the Lincoln Bible. But it doesn't mean I don't appreciate the gravity of what he's doing. The way I can honor that is by working by his side and adding value to what he's doing in any way that I can. That's my part in this. That's why I'm out there trying to be an aid and a support to his vision and his values. I am supporting the president of the United States
