Dust

People make a reckoning with your salvation
Approach it with fear and trembling
For your time will soon come to pass
How will you stand in his presence?
Your strength will not hold you, you will crumble
Your pride will have all been in vain,
And your righteousness like fifthly rags
What will you offer in your defense?
Will you give excuse or sing Praise?
Hide behind opinions or show transformations?
Reek of shame or glow with faith?
Gather yourself and decide who you are
Quit wavering and pick a side
Without Jesus you are nothing
An empty shell, a lost soul
What can you be without him?
Satan can give you fame and fortune
But what can you do with that?
No fame, or fortune can buy you into heaven
Nor can it get you out of hell.
Now is the time to take another look at yourself
Realize that the end is near
Get on your knees and beg forgiveness
Shout until the lord hears you
For without salivation your dust.
