Bible Studies
All creatures in nature obey God and perform their duties perfectly. Only man has the freedom to act as he likes. The sun rises in the east and sets in the west without fail proving heat and light to the world. Birds, animals and every creature in nature have a unique task to carry out. But man is free to do things according to his own will and pleasure.
Here are a few examples from the Holy Bible to show the obedience of creatures in nature. They give their testimonies of their obedience.
1) The Sea
I spread from shore to shore in great areas. My huge waves sometimes toss the ships and vessels that travel on me. But I obeyed God and divided myself into two parts and stood like wall on either side.
“Moses stretched his hand over the sea and Yahweh made a strong east wind blow all night and dry up the sea. The waters divided and the sons of Israel went on dry ground through the middle of the sea, with waters forming a wall to their right and to their left.”(Exodus 14: 21-22)
2) The Fish
I always live in water and I need not come to the shore. But I obeyed the Lord and brought Jonah to the shore safely.
“Then Yahweh gave his command to the fish, and it belched out Jonah onto dry land” (Jonah 2:11)
3) The Donkey
I carry luggage silently. I carry people. I do my duties silently without opening my mouth. But I opened my mouth at the command of God.
“But now Yahweh opened the mouth of the donkey and she said to Balaam, “What have I done to you to make you beat me three times?” (Numbers 22: 28)
4) The Storm
I always obey God. I was blowing so strongly as to topple the boat. But at the command of the Lord I calmed down.
“But they were terrified and they said to one another, “Who can this be? Even the wind and the sea obey him!” (Mark 4: 41)
5) The Rock
I am a hard substance. What good can I give? But I obeyed God and water gushed from me.
“Yahweh said, “I will stand there before you on the rock at Horeb. You will strike the rock and water will flow from it and the people will drink.” (Exodus 17: 6)
6) The Raven
I pick up food items. I obeyed God and brought food at the right time.
“You shall drink from the brook and, for your food, I have commanded the ravens to feed you there…” There the ravens brought him bread in the morning and meat in the evening.” (1 Kings 17: 4, 6)
7) The Waves of the Seas
We are obedient to the laws of God. We keep our limits according to His commands.
“Do you not fear me? It is Yahweh who speaks- Will you not tremble before me?
I set the sand as a limit to the sea, an everlasting barrier it may never pass; its waves toss but cannot prevail; they roar but are unable to go beyond it” (Jeremiah 5: 22)
8) The Animals
All of us entered into the ark at the command of God and we were protected by His Divine Providence.
“They came to Noah in the ark, two by two, all creatures that had breath of life in them. And they that went in were male and female just as God had commanded.” (Genesis 7: 15)

But, isn't it a shame that of all creatures, man is the one made in God's own image and the one who refuses to be obedient?!AMEN!
