Seize the Day, Say the Prayer!

Lord,
It’s me again
Sending out Love
While I make the toast!
Praying for peace
On my knees
While I weed
In between the roses
Prayin’ for the sick
While I wash
The car
Thinkin’ of the
Needs of my neighbourhood
While I cut the beans
Prayin’ for your Church
While I
Lay back on the sofa
And sip my tea
Prayin’ for myself
That I may be a better person
Just as I begin to fall asleep
It’s just another busy day
I guess
That we share
More or less
In the
Ever-shining
Love-defining
God-presiding
Powerhouse of
Prayer!
