2 Chro 20:17b ...Stand ye still,and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem:fear not, nor be dismayed;tomorrow go out against them:for the LORD will be with you.

Ps 46:10 Be still,and know that I am GOD:I will be exalted among the heathen,I will be exalted in the earth.

Being still or calm in the face of situations,no matter how bad or hard they may seem directly leads to revelations(answers,solutions,insight or knowledge)
The devil knows this and that is why he targets our peace of mind, and gets us panicking in the face of "little" problems.

What he does is enlarge the images i.e. the problem bigger than they rightly are.

"FEAR", they say is False Evidence Appearing Real.

Also,in a way to rob Christians of the ZOE and the blessings that go with the ABUNDANT LIFE,the devil gets people busy with activities,trying to get a better life.It is funny how we shun ABUNDANT LIFE and embrace life.

A busy, busy life dulls sensitivity.It blocks the reception of Heaven's frequency.

A busy Christian rushes out in the morning without praying or reading the WORD.He has no time during the day for fellowship with the HOLY SPIRIT and eventually comes back home fagged out.He is of no use to himself,not to talk of the world he is supposed to be the salt in.When any challenge arises for such a Christian,he frets.


Calmness - Knowledge - Solution - Freedom - Testimony.

When you are calm in the face of a problem,it follows directly as mapped out above.

Students need to be quiet in class to learn.Athletes listen with rapt attention to their trainers to succeed.

Imagine a man running away from a hungry lion into a house.He has in his pocket a bunch of keys in which one of the keys open the door to the house.
But he has just the time to get to the door,take out the keys from his pocket,get the right key from the bunch,open,enter and lock the door behind him.He's got exactly that time,no extra seconds,else he's sure meat.


1.He needs a great calmness of mind, to be able to go through it all,not fumbling with the keys nor screaming with fear.

2.He should have the knowledge that in the bunch of keys is help.


The WORD is a bunch of keys to the different doors we come across in life.It is left to us to insert the right key in the lock in time to move on.

Many times,we have solutions to our problems right inside of us and still go about worrying like the guy in Ps 126:6.
He had on him the precious seed he needed,but he kept crying about for help.But thanks to GOD,our loving FATHER,he will come back rejoicing...WHEN i.e. the day he realizes he's got the precious seed in him.
With the seed,he can solve his problems and eventually attain freedom, which brings testimonies to his lips.
So you see how funny it is,it starts with "Calmness"(peace) and ends with Freedom and testimony(peace).
The first peace is peace in the face of trouble which is our FAITH and the second peace is peace without no sorrow added to it.
