Dishonest Means

The only true living entity in heaven and earth that tells the truth is God. No man’s mouth is a Bible. Although man has been purchased, brought back and can be free from sin, they choose dishonest means to gain in the world. For some strange reason man believes someone owes them something. Even the Christian that goes to church feels that they are owed for the service they give God. It’s buried in their veins; the drug that drives their beliefs. That drug is Satan himself, the father of lies that deceives them. He tried deceiving God, then man whom he deceived by beguiling Eve and deceiving Adam. Adam did not see him coming because he saw that when Eve ate of the fruit nothing happened to her as God had said. So when she gave Adam to eat, he ate the fruit and it was then they realized that they were fleshly beings. Before this happened they were spirit beings just like God. He created man in His image. The Devil uses dishonest means to steal our spirituality even today. He is like a drug, a liar and the father of lies. He is dishonest, he deceives man and tried even to deceive Jesus. This drug has destroyed family home structure since the days of Adam and Eve; or since creation and before when he was in heaven. Because they allowed Satan to use them to defy God they were kicked out of the Garden of Eden just as Satan had been kicked out of heaven. Satan, then called Lucifer was envious of God, he was jealous of the attention God received from the Angels; he was filled with malice and covetousness. He coveted God’s position. He decided he wanted God’s position so he secretly went around heaven and caused chaos between the angels because he had a third of them on his side making them believe that they somehow was being taken advantage of. They gave God all the glory; they gave him what they could have themselves. Satan deceived them with dishonest means when actually he wanted them to give him that same glory. He deceitfully deceived them with his lies and treachery. He was in heaven but was a liar. Some Christians are in church but will lie at a drop of a coin when it is convenient.

Christians today does things with ill intentions and will lie and say they didn’t do it. He deceived angels in heaven with God; what makes you think he will not deceive you too? There is only one that is not deceived; God. With some of the stuff Satan does he can’t see any wrong. He thinks he is alright; so as some of us. We could be wrong and think we are right. We do things by deceptive means and that is dishonesty. Dishonesty means we are wanting in the area of honesty, in being upright and truthful. Why would we the people of God do shameful unchaste things that will bring a reproach against the one we say we love? In the church we use the Word to do unfair deceptive things against others. How can God trust us? Actually we are unworthy of his trust. We can’t say that we really believe God when we bow down to willful perversion of the truth for our own means; where we deceive, cheat and defraud the people saying we are doing something when we are really not. We swindle them out of money for a project that never happens over and over again, but then we give excuses for why it did not happen. There is the intent to mislead and suggests a false appearance. The Devil is the father of lies and we are of our daddy the Devil because we have picked up a habit of harmless mischievous deceit, add a little truth to it and make it appear real. There is a discrepancy between what is said and fact of reality. Then there is the untruthful account of their actions. A church once collected thousands of dollars maybe four or five times for a church building that was supposed to be closed on and all the time they didn’t even have a purchase agreement in place. The people thought they were telling the truth each time but still believed what was told them that happened. We don’t know if it was ever true, but we can’t say it was not. We cannot say we were deceived either, but it did not look good for the church either; meaning there may have been a lack of honesty or integrity. The disposition was there to defraud or deceive.

The fact that we get people to church by feeding them or giving them things is deceptive because our whole intent is to make a name for ourselves rather than bring them there for the Word. The special favor God has given to the Church with the Government is in jeopardy. The Government gives them money for things and the things are not getting done but the money none the less is being spent. People what are we doing?

In our own personal lives we even deceive ourselves. We have begun to stink in the nostrils of God. We have become repugnant and offensive to God through the means of provocation. We cause sinners to lose an interest or intent to serve God. This causes God to be disgusted with us. We cause God to be highly distasteful to the sinner. Even if we aren’t committing those things we consider sin. The sinner sees what we do dishonestly as sin; therefore we should not do those things if it offends our brother. The wicked works, deceitful works manifested in the life of the Christian is blown up by Satan to disavow the truth of God. When we do not sow the righteousness of God and when we be a witness against our neighbor without a cause and deceive with our lips we dishonor God. Hatred causes one to dissemble with their lips and to lie to bring about deceit that is within them. Jeremiah 17:9 says the heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked who can know it? God does and his Prophet he reveals the spirit of that thing to. Ephesians 5:6; let no man deceive you with vain words; for because of these things comes the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

Deceit is falsehood arising out of the heart that has been infested with hatred, jealousy, envy, coveting and malice. Satan uses the tongue of these people for his purposes because of what is really in their hearts. Just as Christ was free from these things in his life; so should they not be named among those that are called sanctified. Avoid or shun those that are addicted to lying. Out of a lying spirit come forth all the agents of the Devil. Get delivered and stay delivered from people that use psychological means of deception and play spiritual games. Games of this sort; brings forth disaster to all of your visions. Satan used Eve’s curiosity for pretty things or what appealed to her eyes to beguile her and deceive Adam. When Ever ate the fruit Satan knew nothing would happen and so he would fool Adam to also eat and defy what God had told him. This caused them to know good and evil or bad. In Adam’s pure state he was like god, a spirit being. When we are in Christ his praise is in us. When we do wrong he immediately lets us know so we can repent and do it no more. We are nothing and nobody outside of Christ. Galatians 6:3; for if anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing; he deceives himself. The people of God have been using dishonest means before Jesus came and after Jesus he has been here.

Abraham said Sarah was his sister in Genesis 12:13, 20:2 to deceive the King. Isaac said that his wife was his sister. The sons of Jacob formulated an entrapment scheme against the Shechemites. They schemed to get them because Shechem had slept with their sister Dinah and this grieved them. They were mad because Shechem had wrought folly in lying with Jacob’s daughter, which thing should never be between Israel and Shechem. This act caused a mixture of the people. The Sons of Jacob answered Shechem and Hamor his father deceitfully and said because he had defiled Dinah we cannot do this thing to give our sister to one that is uncircumcised for that were a reproach unto us. But if he would be as they were, they would make every male circumcised. Then we would give our daughters to you. With that they had the upper hand in Genesis 34. They made their request known and their words pleased Hamar but their heart was full of mischief. They really only wanted to get within the gate and take their land, cattle, and possessions. Simeon and Levi took their swords, came upon their city boldly and slew all the males. They tricked the Shechemites. The sins of the fathers is upon the sons. Jacob tricked Esau out of his birthright. His mother tricked his father into giving Jacob the blessing. Jacob sons sold Joseph into Egypt and said he was attacked by wild beasts and he thought his son was dead. Joseph turns around and deceive his brothers by not revealing who he was and said bring his father to him. Delilah deceived Samson. David was deceptive, he even feigned madness. Amnon deceived Tamar and his father by feigning sickness so he could have her, Hushai deceived Absalom and Absalom also deceived his father David when he avenged his sister Tamar by killing Amnon. Ananias and Sapphira in Acts 5:1 became liars when they deceived themselves because they did not tell the truth about the possession they sold to Peter. Peter told them; why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Ghost and to keep back a part of the price of the land.

We today also involve ourselves in some of the same areas and are no better than the Pharisees in Jesus’ day. We have to make a decision today to get all of the underlying matters of the heart out in the open. How long will we halt between two opinions? If the Lord be God follow him. We need to purpose in our hearts not to transgress or allow iniquity to run its course in our lives. Stop the turning cycles of death to your vision today. Turn not to the right, nor to the left hand for answers concerning the things God has told you to do. And don’t use dishonest means in the beginning and it want destroy your end.

Dishonest means catch you up in a web. You sometime cannot get out. If you have a daughter as Jacob did with Dinah, don’t let hour hurting heart destroy your relationship with God. Repent today, remove yourself from the evil. For the Lord God will help you if you if you call upon him. No man can serve two masters. We must deal with the dishonest means of our fleshly hearts today. Motives and intents mean everything with God. Man’s motives and intents; are of the flesh or spirit but not both. We cannot serve God and mammon.

Be persuaded in your own mind and heart that the dishonest means of the world will not be a part of my life. I am persuaded to hold on to God even though I have walked some treacherous terrain in my life. I have faced death, died and am alive today only because my work is not done. We may suffer many things in life for righteousness sake, but stay the course. If we really look back at the beginning when we accepted and received Christ in our lives it has been a struggle. We cannot want go through the struggles of life using dishonest means. Satan presents an easy way out but it carries us straight to hell. We have to do things God’s way. When we do it right God will finish it right.
