The foolishness of the book “The Shack” is very subtle
Deception dresses itself well and
It is very difficult to detect but
The Holy Spirit is our guide
Idolatry is a major contribution of the book
It places God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit in the wrong position—
The wrong position of the Trinity is also found within the church and
This book (The Shack) is another indication of this foolish concept
The author said recently that "the God of evangelical Christianity is a monster."
"He was referring to the evangelical belief that God is a God of judgment and will judge the unbelieving—the author also rejects the biblical view of atonement (wherein Jesus died as a substitute for us to pay the price of our sins)"
The Shack is clearly the work of a false prophet
Yet today many false prophets look original
But we should not be fooled—
The author believes he is speaking the words of God but
The Word of God rejects the concepts ((Exodus 20:4, (2 Peter 1:20,21)
Certain evangelicals’ leaders like Gale Erwin, James Ryle have
Given positive comments about the book—emerging church leaders like
Jim Palmer have also add his voice to this book—
Many Christians can’t seem to get enough of the book
Many today claim to speak for God but
The reality is that only Jesus SPEAKS for God—
We should only speak what Jesus says to us through
His Holy Spirit and our confirmation will be found when
We weigh it up with what the Bible says
Eugene Peterson who wrote the Message Bible also made
The mistake of substituting his own words for God's—
Eugene watered-down-the-Gospel –
The author of “The Shack” has made the same mistake—
This book undermines the Word of God and
We clearly know that satan is involved with this book—
Our enemy appears as light yet our enemy is darkness
The foolishness of the book “The Shack” is very subtle

Mark, I can't dispute what you say about "the shack", as I have just started to read it. But did you not read all the accolades that those who have read it said? I happen to know the mother of the author, and she is a dedicated sister in the Lord. I won't say more about this right now, but I may comment on it at a later date. If I were you, though, I would be very careful in what you say. HAVE YOU ACTUALLY READ THE BOOK FROM COVER TO COVER?
