Encouragement
“You have given me life and constant love, and your care has kept me alive.” Job 10:12
We all know that; Everything is fair in love and war. However, I was greatly intrigued by a remarkable quote which caught my eye today. It read “War is better than love, because in war either you win or die but in love, neither you live nor you die.” Truly said!
Another verse which got my attention was; “The day I stop loving you is the day I close my eyes.” I thought it was an incomplete sentence. Because love does not end with death. It is beyond the grave and out of this world!
Love has no expiry date. It is a sweet medicine ever fresh and viable.
We often hear these words - Lost Love. I disagree because love can never be lost. It is always kept safe in the hearts of those who love and know how to value and cherish this priceless possession.
When we lament to ourselves as to what Time has done, we should rather reflect on what have we done to time. Time is also never lost. The present time is always a continuation of the old time, the same string is being held together .
When two colors are mixed together, can they be separated again? When two waves are joined together, it becomes one big wave. It is the same with Love. It’s identity can never be wiped out from the face of this earth. It is a strong indestructible force.
Even in times of silence, love is still present, it is never forgotten but always remembered. If we have loved once, we are going to love forever. The flame is always kept burning bright.
A really powerful proverb that sums up God’s steadfast love is; “Love me when I least deserve it, because that is when I really need it.”
Yes, He loves us even when we have fallen and sinned. He picks us up with tender care and allows His love to sweep over us, saturate us and melt us.
I believe that the highest definition of love is sacrifice. To perpetuate this statement, we have the perfect example of the Cross. A pure, selfless love.
The Savior is our Knight in shining armor. Shining with love; a love freely given, unchanging and ever to be sought and found.
When we love someone we are always after their hearts. We should thus be people after God’s heart just as He yearns to rule over our hearts. To lay our stake and claim on His love.
