Forever in a Moment

On a star jewel’d night
The wind kissed you light
I was jealous

Shining in your eyes
The sun, moon and skies
I was nervous

All of my tomorrows
Happiness and sorrows
It was wondrous

And then I took you forever in a moment
I pledged my life down at your feet
I took you forever in a moment
Eternity never felt so sweet
I took you forever in a moment
Oh, can’t you feel it burning so high?
I took you forever in a moment
Together we’ll walk this road you and I

It was out of our tears
Spurred on by fears
I was jealous

Fire in your eyes
The pain, hurt and lies
I was nervous

All of our tomorrows
Happiness and sorrows
It was tenuous

And then I took you forever in a moment
I pledged my life down at your feet
I took you forever in a moment
Eternity never felt so sweet
I took you forever in a moment
Oh, can’t you feel it burning so high?
I took you forever in a moment
Together we’ll walk this road you and I

Now we’re looking before
To what lies in store
And I’m jealous

So many the days
Sunny filled rays
And I’m anxious

All of our tomorrows
Happiness and sorrows
It’ll be glorious

And I’ll take you forever in a moment
