Prayers
She lives in a fog
of voices and fear
The world doesn't
seem to welcome her
She longs for love
and friends to care
But we ignore her
In fact we are afraid of her
We see her talkiing
to her voices
Some of us even laugh
and make jokes of people like her
Where is our heart?
Where is ous soul?
Let is embrace
those of us in pain
Let is welcome our brother and sister
with severe mental illness
