Last week i visited a children's home. My mission, together with that of my colleagues was primarily to share better times with the lonely children.

When we got to the camp, four young lads came to greet us, the formal way the locals welcome visitors.

One of the young boys, whose name i've deliberately kept romthis passage said he had been at the camp for 6 years. From wat i had been hearing about the camp being nder immense financial problems, i felt for him.

I imagined and recalled all the good things i got that same period, at home with my own family. i counted my blessings!

The whole afternoon, we shared stories with the boy. I thank God it was not him that learned from my way of living, but i his. i saw the treachery that good times have brought the people of God to.

He taght me how to depend solely on God's handouts. I pray that you teach your children not to depend on you, themselves but God! I believe Christ's purpose on earth was to bring us back to the heart of worship. He did! And i'm grateful!
