Like a lovely, lacy curtain
Filtering the outside light with cool shadows on the walls of a inviting room
Comes my friend with the Name of A Flower.

She casts her spell in my life…
Listening, Loving, Laughing,
Giving of herself with every word.

If joy and innocence had a fragrance,
My nostrils would be overcome.
If love had wings, my cheeks would be brushed by every word from her.

With a bond of love which transcends anything earthly, we have been bound.
Never fully understanding it’s grace, but gratefully accepting it.
Our friendship was tied with cords of love.

The gentle ways of my friend with the
Name of A Flower always saw that the cords were never loosed…
But kept them lovingly in place.

My heart sings for the presence of my friend in my life…
Like a lovely lacy curtain.
Iris brings grace and beauty to in inviting room.
