In a little while it will be over
and not for long, the sun will shine
After being through many dark days
now each bright one is yours and mine

We are now at the end of the storm
oh boy what a trip we had
Through winds and rain, dust and smoke
yes, at times it sure looked bad

It was like everything was tossed in there
blowing at us from east and west
Bringing up rivals to beat up against us
trying to make us fail the test

But now the waiting is over
it's our time to enjoy the sun
We rode it out with a silent shout
even though it was no fun

Now our hearts will rejoice and praise our God
for his goodness he has shone ot us
Seeing he was faithful all the way through
showing in him we all could trust

Not one hour was ever wasted
and not one minute was counted lost
For we knew that it was worth it all
even though it comes with a cost

And now I hear the bells a ringing
ringing loud within my soul
For the refreshing, has come at last
and our blessings will now unfold
