Our Traveled Path
Within you
Within me
Spirit eyes
Can see
Straight into
Our weathered
Fragile souls.
Spirit eyes
Look past
The flesh
And bones...
Past the
Aging scars-
Knowing fully
The joy
And pain
Of our
Traveled path.
Looking in...
Nothing hidden-
Spiritual eyes
Gaze upon
That which
Remains precious
And lovely-
Always aware
Of the
Storms and
Valleys we
Must endure
Before coming
Back home
To the
Eternal heart
Of God.
