The creativity that flows from the mind and heart
Being a poet is getting their very first start

Articles and books follow behind
This talent is one for all time
Not many possess the writer’s mind
It always desires more to uplift a world

Through the healing of words
Non-fiction or fiction
It still delivers a message
In getting the attention of many

This creative expression of words
Is for all to see
When it comes to being a writer
And the writer’s legacy
