Gal 1:6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
Gal 1:7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
Gal 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
Gal 1:9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

One thing we realize from these Scriptures is that there is ‘another gospel’. What Paul means by this is ‘another message of Christ’. We see this other gospel a lot today and especially while outreaching to the lost on the streets. Many will tell us that they are ‘ok with God’, even though they are walking in sin. Many will use the term ‘Christian’ without being a disciple of Jesus (Acts 11:26). Many argue against, and do not believe even the basic doctrines of Christianity. This should not be so! We must hold fast to the Word of God and follow it. We must judge ourselves after it and line our Christianity up with the Bibles Christianity. Why do people ‘pervert’ (to corrupt Gal 1:7) the Gospel of Christ? Why don’t they follow and obey what is written in the Holy Bible? Why do they make a Gospel to suit themselves? As sad as it may be, the following Scripture answers our questions:

2Ti 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

The Word of God tells us it is because of our lust. Many people like their sin and don’t want to give it up, so they look to doctrines and preachers that give them the excuse’s and perverse reasoning’s of straight up Biblical truth, to continue in that sin. This is a dangerous place to be. Can that convenient, compromised, ‘have it my gospel’ save you? No! This is why we must go out and share the true Gospel, and preach it without compromise or fear of man. This is what love does, it tells the truth so people won’t end up spending an eternity in hell. Let’s all walk in the love of God and preach the true Gospel of Christ, the Gospel that has the power to save souls, set the captives free and cause Christians to not only read about Jesus, but be Jesus to their world.
