I might well meditate before I turn the music on,
then I might just terminate the lyrics from the song.
The roses on the front porch yield their blossoms all for free,
While the cactus in the backyard thrives, with little help from me.

Rosemary, she nodded to her cousin Hyacinth.
'Look at my blue flowers, if you like, come, help yourself'.
'My fragrant herbs will add a flavour to your evening meal'
Sage then chimed in; 'Honey, that's exactly how I feel!"

From their tree, the lemons dropped, then rolled across the floor.
'If you decide on pancakes, you could ask for nothing more!
Add a little sugar to this sumptuous recipe."
Hyacinth then thanked them for their generosity.

Camelia then stretched her branches, lazily implored,
'Keep your voices down, my loves, you caught me in mid-snore"
Daisy shook her yellow head, decided to agree,
Yet, Thyme and Oregano quipped; 'our herbs are yours for free!'

I turned the music up then poured myself a glass of wine.
I'm hosing down the garden, while believing all is fine.
The violins are stringing out a heartfelt melody,
while the roses on the front porch yield their blossoms all for free.
