PENALTY 3 ‘Area’
“The score was level in the local derby- and full time was near. “Penalty! Penalty! roared the crowd as a defender handled the ball in the ‘area’.
But the referee had spotted it. Blowing the whistle, he pointed to the spot. The player lined himself up for the kick of the match. The ball flew into the back of the net. A roar rose up from the crowd as the whistle blew for time. it was the deciding goal.
No one complained about the penalty. The infringement was clear the referee could do no other than allow it.”

From this story we see the defender handling the ball in the ‘area.’ What area? a prohibited area.. God has an area in which we can operate with safety, maintaining our relationship with Him and keeping safe from the attack of the enemy. It is like a fenced area; a ring fence where we can ‘play’ as we will.
Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land. Job1:30

When we break the fence, meddle with sin we give Satan the right to attack us and bring us into bondage.
He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him. Eccle 8:10

So keep within the area and not outside the area.
