The Other Child

John 10:16; and other sheep I have, which are not of this fold them also I must bring and they shall hear my voice and there shall be one fold, and one Shepherd.

What’s the suspense about? Are we uncertain in our minds about the other children? Are we full of anxiety when it comes to the other child? Or are we excited when the other child comes into right relationship with God? What exactly is the outcome of the other child?

In the world the other child is considered to be one without a father present in the home. This child is not only fatherless but is claimed to be unknown as his. The other child is left being the one distinct from the family; a different or additional one, the outward conformists. The Jews, those belonging to the tribe or to the kingdom of Judah and any of the Hebrew race born throughout the world, was considered God’s chosen people. But what happened to those that was not born a Jew, the other child? The other child is any nation other than Israel, called the Gentile.

No man is however left out of the Kingdom of God. Isaiah 2:2-4; promise of the Gentile is spoken by the prophet Isaiah. And it shall come to pass in the last days that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains and shall be exalted above the hills and all nations shall flow into it. And many people shall go and say, come ye and let us go up to the mountains of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob and he will teach us of His ways and we will walk in his paths, for out of Zion shall go forth the law and the Word of the Lord from Jerusalem. And he shall judge among the nations and shall rebuke many people and they shall beat their swords into plowshares and turn their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore.

Denominations war against each other in words. They put down each other like they are the other child of God that is not favored. The Word is still the same as it was on yesterday and of prior years. It still tells us to walk in the light, walk as dear children, speak the scriptures, walk in God’s path, cause the other child to walk upright before the Lord, walk not after the flesh, walk in love, walk worthy of your vocation, walk as children of light and on and on. We have been regenerated and we are to restore all things and people to Christ.

How do we bring Christ to all people? First we must be born again through the Holy Spirit. We must be washed thoroughly from our own iniquities and cleansed from sin. Purge out the old man and let the Holy Spirit come into your mind, heart, soul and spirit and reside there. It takes a clean heart and a renewed spirit. The preparation of the heart in man and the answer of the tongue is from the Lord. Our whole trust must be in God. Ezekiel 11:19, I will give them one heart and I will put a new spirit within you, and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh and will give them an heart of flesh that they may walk in my statutes and keep mine ordinances and do them and they shall be my people and I will be their God. You can’t continue in the old way of your mind but yield the right of way to God. Learned behavior puts a difference between people where no difference should ever be in Christ. How can we turn the other child to the Lord when we refuse to accept that they are different? Acts 15:9, put no difference between us and them, purifying their hears by faith. If we keep a difference there, our differences; how can God use us to open their eyes when ours won’t close to those differences? How can we turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God? Why do we think there is no hope for the other child in God when we ourselves at one time was thought of by someone else to have no hope in God? The other child have to receive the same forgiveness of sin and be sanctified by faith in Jesus Christ also.

Why do we think the other child must stay conformed to the world? Are we sure we too are not conforming to this same world? Have we really been transformed by the renewing of our minds that we can prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God? Of God came Jesus Christ made unto wisdom and righteousness, sanctification and redemption. The other child need the same of God and we must endure the time needed to bring the other child to Christ. But why are we so stuck up in our own little world where we put difference in people. If they dare to be different we put them away; are we really rid of the old man with his old deeds? Is our works of righteousness of our own doing?

Do we have an attitude toward the other child? If so we need to repent and alter our conduct. Just like someone hit us in the face we must forgive them and go on with the Lord; so must we forgive the other child for where they are and show them a better way. Matthew 18:15; moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee; go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone. We don’t love the unfruitful works of the other child and condone what they do but we must reprove them, manifesting their deeds in the light. We are to preach the Word, be instant in season, out of season, reprove, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and doctrine that the other child should come to the Lord and be sound in the faith that we ourselves are not hardened through the deceitfulness of the enemy.

The other child is not one born in the family of believers. Children born in a family of believers hardly ever repent of their sins for they are taught to ask for forgiveness and for what was messed up but rarely ever is there true repentance. They are pious in their belief, never really connecting to the Person of Christ. They are comfortably set in the body. They come to church religiously as taught but rarely ever experience the power of the Holy Ghost. They have become estranged to religion and need to be reconciled to Christ. Religion can be like waste matter that never was purged. There is ceremonial doctrines observed but never really a cleansing. Religion and church is customary and there is also a spirit of pride and selfishness among them where they shirk the more important things of God. They disallow the Holy Ghost free reign in their hearts. Romans 6:4, therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death, that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. The religious folks will show up for church but unlike the other child will not pick up their bibles from one church service to another. The other child appreciates their salvation and what was done for them. That’s why it is the other child that brings new life to the services. Every church needs an other child. When salvation comes to a newborn Christian new life is birth. New life brings joy to the congregation.

There is no secret what God would do for them because newness brings about a new desire to please God and want to increase in the knowledge of God. There desire is to let the Word dwell in them richly that they may continuously learn of Him. They don’t look for walls to hide behind but desires to come out and face the battles of life head on. They want to take the violent by force and bring the wisdom of God as they have learned yet to another other child. We are of God, he that know God hear us; he that is not of God hear us not; hereby know we the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

The other child, the Gentile not born of the order or sect of religion desires the sincere milk of the Word as a newborn. Are you willing to learn and be fed of the word of life. Are you willing to be the other child away from religion that you may grow in the things of Christ. There are enough of religious retards. Christians wake up, the other child is waiting on you to find them. Don’t let religion keep the other child out of the body of Christ as you have no right to deny anyone the opportunity to know Christ. We take too much on our selves making us gods rather we know it or not. The other child, are we guilty of branding them where they will rather stay out of the kingdom of God? If there is uncertainty about them being saved we must know that it is within them and of no cause on our part. Thank God He has no bastards, all souls are mine said the Lord.
